Dr. Steffen Otterbach

Steffen Otterbach is senior academic council, lecturer and researcher at the Institute for Health Care & Public Management, University of Hohenheim. With a specialization in empirical economics his research focuses on the impact of working conditions (e.g. working time and mismatches between actual and desired working hours) on health and wellbeing. His research interests also include food security and nutrition aspects in developing countries.

Steffen Otterbach studied economics at the University of Hohenheim and the Jönköping International Business School in Jönköping, Sweden. He received a PhD from the University of Hohenheim in 2012, and he is a research fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA).
